Lymphatic Therapy

Lymphatic therapy is a gentle, specialized massage designed to stimulate the body’s lymphatic system — the network responsible for flushing out toxins and excess fluids. Originating in Europe in the 1930s, it has long been used to support post-surgical recovery, reduce lymphedema, and enhance immune function. This treatment is especially beneficial for people recovering from surgery, those with swelling or fluid retention, or anyone seeking gentle detoxification and immune support.

Mild Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the most well-known massage style worldwide, developed in the 1800s by Per Henrik Ling in Sweden. Jeannie’s mild Swedish massage employs light to medium pressure with flowing strokes to enhance circulation, alleviate stress, and alleviate muscle tension without leaving soreness or bruising. It is best for clients seeking a deeply relaxing, restorative experience — perfect for stress relief, first-time massage clients, or anyone sensitive to deep pressure.

Techniques include massage, exfoliation, and targeted pressure to relieve fatigue and improve circulation. These treatments are especially beneficial for those on their feet all day, athletes, or anyone who wants to ease tension and pamper tired extremities.

Scalp treatments have been part of Ayurvedic and Asian traditions for centuries. This service benefits those with stress-related tension, headaches, or scalp discomfort, and anyone wanting to relax deeply while encouraging hair vitality.

Special Notes

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes. Gift cards are available and make excellent presents for holidays, birthdays, or special occasions. They allow recipients to choose their preferred service and time.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Services are private-pay only. However, many clients use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to cover massage as part of their wellness care. Clients should check with their provider for eligibility.

What should I prepare for my appointment?

Very little is required — Jeannie brings everything needed for your session, including the massage table, linens, oils, and music. Since she is a mobile massage therapist, all appointments take place in the client’s home, office, or other private space. Clients only need to provide a quiet area large enough for the table and access to water for handwashing.

For your comfort, you may undress to your level of preference. Some people choose to be completely naked, which is perfectly fine; Jeannie always covers private areas with a comfortable sheet (professional draping) so you remain secure and at ease.

She requires that all clients be freshly showered before the appointment and come well-hydrated, as clean skin and hydrated tissues improve both comfort and effectiveness of the massage.

Creating a calm, distraction-free environment — such as silencing phones, dimming lights, or playing soothing music — will help you get the most out of your treatment.
